I got this amazing movie right before Christmas. It is now one of my new favorite movies. My boyfriend and I watched it "together" (long-distance, y'know) and he loved it despite the fact he thought it would be a "typical chick flick", but it was far from it! I loaned it to my youth group teacher and she loved it too. :) Old-Fashioned is a must see for couples, individuals who are just dating or people about to dating! In today's hook-up society, it's really a breath of fresh air to find a movie like this. Old-fashioned courtship in contemporary America, is that possible? Watch this movie if you want to see a refreshing love story without all the "friends with benefits" stuff. This is a true love story. Pictures of modest outfits provided by Johannah - Check out her blog http://modesty4life.weebly.com/ I met Chelsea Musick when she came around Christmas time to perform at my local Catholic youth group, where I volunteer. She's an AMAZING person and a great singer! Enjoy this awesome song, "Keep Your Pants On". My youth group and RCIA teacher gave me this AMAZING book for Christmas How to Find Your Soulmate (without Losing Your Soul) by Jason and Crystalina Evert, authors of Pure Manhood and Pure Womanhood. I'm currently on page 133, it's a great book and can almost not put it down, but I wanted to make a post before I forgot completely!. Modesty plays such an important part, because I want a man to cherish me for my heart and mind, not my body. I want him to lead me closer to God, not just respect my faith but, come with me as I grow closer to God and Mother Mary. I am so happy to say my current and first ever boyfriend, matches all the good things in this book. :) And I am so glad I haven't gotten together with any of those other guys after reading this. Girls, get this book before you enter a relationship or if you're already in one. There are so many good tips for analyzing your relationship and to find out if it is worth keeping or not.
